Thank you for your interest in joining the Hollywood North International Film Festival (HNIFF) as a volunteer!
We’re building a vibrant team of creative, passionate individuals who love cinema and want to help us grow and connect with filmmakers and audiences from around the world.

We’re currently seeking year-round volunteers to support us in the following areas:

  • Social Media Management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

  • Content Creation (graphics, videos, blogs)

  • Email Communications (replying to inquiries, maintaining contact lists)

  • Filmmaker & Guest Liaison (outreach, scheduling, support)

  • Administrative Support (organizing assets, managing deadlines)

  • Your resume

  • A brief summary of your experience

  • A few lines about your interests and the type of volunteer work you’d like to do with HNIFF

  • If the area of your interest is not listed please specify what would you like to do. 

We’ll review your submission and get in touch if there’s a potential fit.

3. Interview
If selected, we’ll schedule a quick phone or video interview to get to know you better and discuss how you can contribute to the team.

4. Orientation
Accepted volunteers will be invited to a virtual orientation session to learn more about HNIFF, your specific role, and how we’ll work together throughout the year.

5. Get Started
After orientation, you’ll be added to our internal system and receive access to online tools, task briefs, and communication channels. Most volunteer roles require a commitment of around 1–5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
