Cancer patient, Kathy Clarke (mid-60’s) has finally received a positive prognosis. A quiet, self-conscious woman, Kathy has been dependant on her daughter, Allison, while enduring difficult treatments. Looking to a brighter future, she longs to rebuild her life. However, a chance meeting in the hospital cafe forces Kathy to reveal a secret she hoped she’d never have to confess. Now, her quality of life will depend on a decision she can’t believe she’s facing, today of all days.
