Toni, a hopeful romantic, has perfected the template for the perfect first date, with a history of less than perfect results. When Nina, the new girl in town who is just looking for a fun night out, comes into her orbit, Toni takes fate into her hands by trying to orchestrate the soundtrack to true love by choosing the perfect song for what could be their last first kiss.

From the director
As a child of the 80s, I watched movies where boys were allowed to do audacious things in the name of love. Orchestrate the fairytale first date, like in Some Kind of Wonderful, play perfect song for to get the girl, like in Say Anything, or just kiss out in the open, in a misty parking lot. A purse dropping kiss, like the one in Pretty in Pink.
That kind of out loud, unabashed love was exclusive. How I loved, who I loved, who would love me, was something to be kept in the dark, in the shadows, in silence.
I wrote Last First Kiss as love letter to the little romantic inside everyone, but especially that little boy who never thought he’d find love the way he saw it in the movies.
