From the director
Last Stop was inspired by an experience I had while taking the subway. As I was getting on, a man suddenly placed his backpack down and stepped off the train. I panicked immediately—there was something eerie about that bag. I wanted to get off right away, but the subway had already started moving. Time slowed down, and my mind raced through a thousand different scenarios. I ran out at the next station. The ride took only three minutes, but to me, it felt like three hours. As I stepped off the train and took a deep breath, I was overwhelmed with guilt. I felt selfish for thinking only about myself instead of alerting someone about the bag. That’s why I made Last Stop. It’s about Sara, who chooses to step up—who stays instead of leaving, determined to find out what’s inside.
