Chatterbox
Directed by CJ Wartley · United States · 5 min · micro · narrative
Written and directed by CJ Wartley. Why I wrote this shot film. The inspiration for writing this short film came from a personal place in my life. I felt this to be a very relatable subject. A chatterbox is someone who talks excessively and enthusiastically, often without pausing for breath. They have a natural tendency to fill silences with conversation, covering a wide range of topics with little effort. Whether it's small talk, personal stories, or random thoughts, a chatterbox is always eager to share what's on their mind. Their energy and love for communication can make them lively and entertaining in social settings, but their constant talking can sometimes overwhelm or exhaust those around them. While they may not always be the best listeners, their talkative nature often stems from a genuine desire to engage with others and keep the conversation flowing.
